all hallow’s eve

the halloween index:
  • pounds of candy purchased, secondary to k’s alert that we were likely to get “hundreds” of trick-or-treaters: about 10
  • actual number of trick-or-treaters who braved the freezing winds and came to our house: 7
  • average temperature over the course of the evening, in and around our neighborhood: an unseasonably cold 4 degrees (ok maybe 31, but brr!)
  • volume, in cubic inches, of remaining apple pie this morning: hardly any
  • comments from neighbors on our amazing jaqueolanters: 3
  • number of clues currently held by eli regarding what to do with all the extra candy: 0
